Students in Malawi will work with students in Scotland about the uses of five common trees in their countries. In this project the students will use a variety of resources like word and powerpoint documents, pictures and web links.
Students from both countries prepare powerpoint presentations with pictures showing the uses of trees
Students from both countries will send each other word document pictures and a list of their names for the matching exercise.
Students in each states will find information about common trees in their states and find their uses.
Students use the researched information to match the trees and their names. They also think about the uses of trees from the powerpoint presantation.
Students will present each other's 5 common trees and their uses on powerpoint.
