The purpose of this project is to start a dialogue between American middle school-age students and same-age students in other countries in order to learn about each other through online discussion of fiction books and popular culture. Not only do we hope to gain a better understanding of our international counterparts, we also hope to change negative perceptions about each other's cultures.
