This project is for children around the world to learn about rivers in their own country and across the globe. This is a cross curricular project; Geography, English, Creative writing and Art. If members have any other ideas feel free to join and add stages and folders.

Carclaze River Art based on Boscastle

We took photos of the area around Boscastle, cut them in half and tried to finish the picture using a variety of medium. Some pictures were direct copies as well.

hello everybody

thank you Tristan for coming up with such a beautiful project which sa not only made studying geography interesting for children but has also given them an opportunity to learn about rivers in their own country and across the globe. In addition it wonderfully connected English, Creative writing and Art.

I exploited all the aspects of the project and the results were amazing. Some part of the outcome is being reflected on elanguages.
Hope other users would find it interesting.

The project work your students have submitted is fantastic. Thank
you to you and them for your enthusiasm! For information today
there’s been another presentation about the Danube added to the
project from The Kyiv P Tychyna Gymnasia 191, in the Ukraine.

Also, you might be interested in Tristan’s new project called
Animal Adventures - an international, cross curricular animal
project. It looks like it would be a lot of fun for your students.

Just to say sorry I have not added to the project for a while. New baby. The project is looking great and the children love looking at all the work. Hope it continues to grow.
