School makes us happy.jpg

Introduction

As an introduction, please tell us about a day at your school. Ask your students to write some text, take some photos, or make a video. We would like to know what you like most about being at school, and what makes you happy there. All of the teachers on the right hand side are interested in starting an eLanguages project right now, so please send them a message to say hello. To do this, click on their name, and "click on send me a message". You could be working with a friendly partner school in no time at all. HELP! If you don't know how to get started, e-mail the eLanguages team at eLanguages@britishcouncil.org. We are committed to helping develop school partnerships, so will be happy to find you a partner or help you start your own eLanguages project

Hi Sabah, Thank you for joining the project and telling us about your school! Here are some ideas to get started: -Take a picture of your school and add it to the photo gallery -Ask your students to make a powerpoint presentation with interesting facts about your school and local area, then upload it to the, 'Our School' section -Ask your students to write a short essay or paint pictures about their day at school and upload them to the, 'Our day at school' section I really like your project about historical places in Jordan! Bye for now Chris

we want to partner with you

before I apologize, I introduce the name of muhammad nadhim Madrasah Aliyah Al Hidayat of Indonesia (Islamic Boarding School), I am very interested in the project because of this I join with the project, although I hope we get religious, but still respect each other, not no purpose other than a unity and inter-nation, and we also need to learn from you, because we still feel poor knowledge and experience. thank you hopefully we can become partners.

Hi Muhammad Thank you for posting the image gallery from your school. The pictures are excellent! The carnival and celebrations look like wonderful fun for the students. Suryani Yacoeb has a lovely project that might be interesting for you and your students. http://www.elanguages.org/47005 I have some questions. What do the students studying ‘self-care’ learn? Why are such young students studying to become models? What kind of ‘theatre’ or plays do the ‘creativity’ students perform? I'm sure you can find some partner schools to share ideas and information with. Best wishes Chris

hi, i dont know why are photos shown so big? i want to make them so small so that i can add as many as i can

Re: MY DAY

Hi Younis, The images from your digital camera are very large. It’s best to edit them to make them smaller before you upload them. Do you have a photo editor like photoshop, paintshop or Microsoft photo editor on your PC? If so you can crop them to make them smaller. Or maybe try a web based photo editor like Picassa. http://picasa.google.com/ All the images in your gallery look great! You’ve mentioned Connecting Classrooms in some of the pictures. Is your school already linked with a school in the UK? If yes, please let me know the name of the school. Thanks Chris
