hello everybody
first i would like to congratulate the owner of the project and all my fellow teachers from across the globe for their wonderful contribution.

I wonder if we can fix a day for a kind of International Food Fest when we ask our students cook different dishes from home (recipe of which are shared here on the elanguages) or get these ready in the school itself, whichever suits to all my counterparts and the school administration.

Kindly send your opinions at dpsyogesh@rediffmail.com

Sate Padang is the name for three kinds of sate in Sumatra Barat: sate Padang, sate Padang Panjang and sate Pariaman.

Sate Padang uses beef and cow tongue with thick hot peanut juice topping, almost like porridge.

Sate Padang Panjang has yellow peanut juice, while sate Pariaman is more reddish. Both of them are hot and spicy. Sate Padang has the combination of the two kinds of sate.

EASTER IN CROATIA

The pictures you will see are from our school. There is an old tradition in Bulgaria to welcome the guests with homemade round bread dipped either in honey or salt. The guest should take a small piece of the bread dip it into honey or salt eat it and then he enters the hosts home or as in the case the threshold of our school. Here the girls are wearing traditional Bulgarian folklore costumes to welcome our Swedish and Turkish guests.

A great eTwinning project between primary schools in England and Poland. The students have published some of their recipes. Why not try to make ‘Toad in the Hole’ with your class.
Chocolate and Chips is another lovely food related eTwinning project designed to promote a healthy diet, lifestyle, and enjoyable exercise for Nursery and Infant children.
